Our Mission


The Country Club of Buffalo Foundation is committed to promoting an understanding of the importance of historic preservation by providing educational opportunities that highlight the architectural and cultural significance of the Club’s buildings and grounds. Through lectures, tours, publications, and collaborative events, the Foundation will engage members and the broader community in appreciating the rich history of the Club and the need to preserve its legacy for future generations. These efforts will ensure that the unique character and heritage of the Country Club of Buffalo are both honored and sustained.

Our Mission

A major role of the Foundation is to raise awareness and funds to help support its Mission, which is to serve as a 501(c)(3) public charity, providing tax advantages for individual contributions, event donations, and bequests. These contributions allow the Foundation to preserve and protect the Country Club of Buffalo’s historic property, its artifacts, including its clubhouse and buildings and it original Donald Ross designed golf course.  for the enjoyment and education of future generations.
